Keilhauer Achieves BIFMA LEVEL® 3 Certification Across Full Furniture Lineup

Dec 19, 2024 (Toronto) – Keilhauer, a premium commercial furniture designer and manufacturer, proudly announces that the company has earned the distinguished LEVEL® 3 certification across its entire furniture lineup.

The LEVEL® program, run by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA), is a furniture sustainability standard approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). This voluntary standard establishes measurable performance criteria in the areas of environmental, health, and social impacts, with certifications ranging from LEVEL® 1 to the highest LEVEL® 3, which Keilhauer has achieved.

As part of the LEVEL® sustainability certification Keilhauer provides 3rd party declarations related to indoor air quality, life cycle assessments, material composition, and social responsibility.

Since the early 2000s Keilhauer has been investing in clean electricity credits, and focused on waste diversion. Today, Keilhauer operates zero-waste to landfill facilities, has removed water from manufacturing processes, and offers over 225 carbon-neutral models from more than 25 product families.
