Keilhauer Celebrates Design Excellence with Prestigious Awards Wins

August 6, 2024 (Toronto) – Keilhauer is pleased to announce that two of its outstanding products, the Swav low-back conference chair from the Tailored collection and the Foryu Chair, have received prestigious design accolades.

The Swav low-back conference chair was awarded by the Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting in the Furniture category. Designed by frequent Keilhauer collaborators EOOS, the Swav low-back conference chair possesses a slim, minimalist seat profile and unique loop arms, creating a beautiful and distinctive silhouette. The Swav chair also features a sophisticated single grid-stitch on the backrest, which effortlessly ties this conference chair to other products within the Tailored collection.

The Foryu chair has also been honored with a Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting award in the Furniture category. Additionally, it has been recognized as an “A+ Product” in the Commercial Design category by the Architizer A+ Awards.

Designed by acclaimed German designer Martin Ballendat, the Foryu chair is an ergonomic office chair crafted to offer custom comfort and support. Its innovative self-weighted mechanism, featuring a series of pivot points, automatically adjusts to and flexes with the user’s unique weight and size. Foryu is available in two quick-ship models, delivered either fully assembled or flat packed with a two week lead time.
