April 22, 2026 (Toronto) – In recognition of Earth Day, Keilhauer is proud to announce the publication of its 2026 Corporate Sustainability Report, showcasing the company’s continued progress in responsible design, transparent reporting, and climate‑aligned manufacturing practices.
“At Keilhauer, sustainability is not a program or a moment in time; it is a long‑term commitment that guides how we design, make, and lead,” says Meghan Sherwin, President. “This year’s report reflects steady, intentional progress across our organization and reinforces our belief that beautiful design and responsible manufacturing are inseparable.”
Among the report’s key highlights is the continued expansion of Keilhauer’s carbon neutral product portfolio. In 2025, the company introduced six new carbon neutral product families and transitioned several legacy designs, including Cahoots, Ponder, and Vanilla, to its verified carbon neutral framework. Together with Division Twelve, Keilhauer now offers 36 carbon neutral certified product families, each supported by product‑specific life‑cycle assessments, third‑party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and participation in the ClimeCo Certified Products Program.
Keilhauer’s sustainability performance across operations remains a cornerstone of the report. In 2025, the company:
- Offset 100% of electricity usage for direct operations through Green‑e® certified renewable energy credits
- Achieved an 85% waste diversion rate across all facilities through 17 dedicated diversion streams
- Continued a 14‑year streak of annual electricity consumption reductions
The report also details Keilhauer’s ongoing commitment to material health and chemical transparency. Today, 60 seating and table product families are third‑party certified through Practice Greenhealth™ to be free of targeted chemicals of concern, including PFAS, PVC, and halogenated flame retardants.
Keilhauer continues to foster a safe, inclusive, and values‑driven workplace, supported by professional development programs, community impact programs, and proactive health and wellness initiatives. The company was again recognized as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers, earning the distinction for the 12th time overall.
Keilhauer also reaffirmed its alignment with global sustainability efforts by continuing to publicly report progress through the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Actions Platform, focusing on goals related to responsible production, climate action, and decent work.
