The Showroom Manager role is critical in delivering a “Make Work Comfortable For All” client relationship experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Toronto showroom and provide oversight to the local showroom managers in both New York City and Chicago, ensuring consistency, efficiency and strong brand experiences across North America.

This individual will oversee the operational accounting of the Toronto, New York City and Chicago showrooms, with skills in sound financial planning coupled with an ability to navigate fixed and variable costs, rental agreements, and construction and design costs.

The Showroom Manager role is a leadership opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic leader with a can-do attitude, with exceptional problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. This crucial role is best suited to a seasoned showroom professional with a proven record of accomplishment in delivering strong brand experiences.


  • Minimum 3 years’ related experience in managing sales or managing a showroom; previous experience in high-end luxury retail brands or furniture considered an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, business, architecture or design is preferred.
  • Ability to perform intermediate level math including sq/ft costs, and YOY costs.
  • A work history of support to senior management staff is highly desired.
  • Background or connection to the commercial interior design industry is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and mathematical use of Excel.

Working Conditions

This role is performed primarily in a B2B appointment-only retail environment, which is typically quiet. The Showroom is located at 105 King St. E, Toronto. Most of your duties will be fulfilled with the use of a computer and office equipment, with communications taking place by phone, email or in person. Some functions of your role will be conducted in the manufacturing facility, where you may be exposed to dust particulates and noise. Occasional travel may be required. Must have the strength and dexterity to occasionally shift and move office chairs, stackable chairs and small lounge items (approximately weight of 30-40 lbs). Casters and rolling units will be provided for larger items.
