Keilhauer’s Swav Conference Chair Wins Two Prestigious Awards

December 13, 2023 (Toronto) – Keilhauer is proud to announce that the Swav low-back conference chair from the Tailored collection is the recipient of two prestigious design awards. Swav has been awarded a Best of Year Award from Interior Design magazine, winning in the Contract Conference Furniture category. This elegant conference chair has also been awarded a Best of Canada Award from Canadian Interiors magazine, named as one of just four product winners.

Designed by frequent Keilhauer collaborators EOOS, the Swav low-back conference chair was launched this summer at NeoCon. Swav possesses a slim, minimalist seat profile and unique loop arms, creating a beautiful and unique silhouette. Swav also features a sophisticated single grid-stitch on the backrest, effortlessly tying this conference chair to other Tailored products within the collection.

Swav’s Best of Year Award was presented by Interior Design on December 7 in New York City, where the architecture and design industry gathered to celebrate the winners and honorees of Interior Design’s 18th annual Best of Year Awards. The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Cindy Allen, hosted the event and announced the winners at the in-person ceremony, which was also livestreamed online by DesignTV® by SANDOW.

Keilhauer’s Foryu office chair was also recognized during the Best of Year ceremony – the ergonomic, ultra-comfortable office chair was a Best of Year honoree in the Contract Task Seating category.

Now in its 26th year, Canadian Interiors’ Best of Canada Awards is Canada’s only design competition focusing on interior design projects and products without regard to size, budget or location. Swav’s Best of Canada Award win has been published in Canadian Interiors’ November/December 2023 issue, listed amongst the other product and project winners.
